Summer benefit tour raises thousands for local nonprofits

Donation checks were still coming in long after the final applause at Belmar's Beach Haus Brewery.

Thanks to the generosity and support of my fans and local businesses, three Monmouth County nonprofit organizations received a hard-earned contribution to their causes as beach season came to a end. The three-show summer benefit tour, which featured performances at The Saint and the House of Independents in Asbury Park, NJ and the Beach Haus Brewery in Belmar, NJ, successfully raised more than $6,300, a sum that that was split equally amongst its recipients.

The tour's beneficiaries, Monmouth County SPCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth and Middlesex Counties, and Foodstock NJ, are doing incredible work in our community by serving the needs of local animals, disadvantaged youth, and food pantries. Please learn more about their missions and consider becoming a volunteer or Big! I can't say this enough...THANK YOU to everyone who came to support my debut tour and made a donation!

I would like to recognize and thank the following businesses for their generosity:

Durato International

Stonehenge Building & Development

First Commerce Bank

The Curchin Group

Roger Mumford Homes

All County Exteriors

Toll Brothers

Legacy Stairs and Millwork, Inc.

Affordable Quality Cleaning

Lastly, a special thank you to Marlen Kroll, who's big heart and relentless spirit for giving back helped lead the fundraising effort. This could not have happened without you!
