It's been a while since I've written on here...or anything lately besides emails!
Prepping for my tour at the Shore has been a lot of work, but it's been very rewarding figuring things out on my own and working with so many friendly, good-hearted people who want this tour to be a success.
Some big news that you might have learned just from perusing my website: I'm now partnered with three, count 'em...THREE nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping those born with the odds stacked against them. What started as a goal to help the adorable animals at the Monmouth County SPCA has now grown to include Foodstock NJ---a Freehold-based food collection initiative that strives to ensure every person in the community has a meal for themselves and their loved ones---and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth and Middlesex Counties---a one-on-one mentoring program for local kids facing hardship or living in disadvantaged circumstances. All net proceeds generated by ticket and merchandise sales at the shows on my tour will be donated to these three nonprofits. Though without a doubt the true strength of these organizations is in their ensemble of devoted and compassionate volunteers and staff members---trust me, I work with one---I hope that whatever money I can raise with this tour will help them further their missions a little bit more (so let's raise some cash for dayys!)
This week, I had the pleasure of chatting with Justin Louis at the 92.7 WOBM studio in Toms River. We talked a little bit about my music, my tour, and how we've both adopted senior dogs.

I also performed a solo version of "The Tide" from my newly released EP. Check out the interview and performance and share this blog post on Facebook and Twitter!
